Guidelines for the compilation of illustrative notes
Introduction
The introduction shall contain all data – including data
that is not strictly technical-scientific – relative to the
following:
a) geographical area involved;
b) previous editions of the official geological cartography on a
scale of 1:100,000;
c) organisation chart;
d) mapping period;
e) criteria adopted for mapping, selection of biozonal schemes,
legend layout, etc.;
f) other.
