Agency control system for projects related to Law no 93_01

Projects directly managed by APAT

Law no. 93/2001 authorizes the allocation of financial resources for cooperation between APAT and single regional and provincial agencies in carrying out environmental protection activities. The objective, among others, is to adapt and qualify the network and laboratory tools to today’s environmental controls.
Within the framework of provisions established by Law no. 93/2001, APAT’s main role is to technically address and coordinate agencies in order to harmonize the methods with which they operate at national level in carrying out their duties.
Projects related to Law no. 93/01 and directly managed by APAT are as follows:

Definition of an environmental reporting method at regional level
( Project 1)
Telematic Land Registry: realization of an Environmental Registry - RAMA Project ( Project 2)
Open Source Management Centre - Software Management Centre produced and used within the SINANET framework ( Project 3)
Opinion-sharing circuits to identify a Regional or Multiregional Permanent Technical Group (PTG) that can continuously monitor the quality of data produced by single environmental control laboratories ( Project 5)
Adjustment of environmental laboratory quality systems: from regulation UNI CEI EN 45001 to ISO UNI CEI EN 17025 ( Project 6)
Characterization of waste: production of CDR reference material, heavy and light ashes from incinerators and management of some dangerous waste. Cost/benefit analysis for the treatment of special waste with innovative technologies ( Project 7)
Realization of a sound-measurement laboratory and applications in the environmental field ( Project 8)
Natural Risk – Anthropic Risk Environmental Information System ( Project 9)
Collection of land defence data ( Project 10)
Improvement of methods for the measurement of Radon concentrations and for the identification of areas prone to high Radon concentration ( Project 13)
POLL-NET. Realization of a national network for monitoring fungin pollens and spores of allergenic, agronomic and environmental interest ( Project 16)
Development of statistical methods for acquiring and divulging environmental information ( Project 17)
SIDes – Integrated information system for monitoring, evaluating and mitigating desertification phenomena in particularly affected areas of Italy ( Project 26)
Completion and validation activities for georeferencing industrial plants falling under Legislative Decree no. 334/99 in the whole country ( Project 99)
