Net of the Libraries and Documentation Centers of the italian Environmental Agency System (APAT-ARPA-APPA)

The net works to promote the circulation of the environmental informations.The task is to publicize and to make accessible their documentary legacy and products. The need to create accessibility on the whole national territory and to share resources and services locally, has led to the creation of the net in January 2004.  
 
The main purposes of the net are:  
 
identification and localization of the bibliographical material possessed for an efficient service of document delivery; 
regular exchange of the publications produced by every Agency; 
establishment of common procedures to offer services to the public on the base of a planned collaboration and of experiences exchange; sharing resources through the creation of catalogs, also in view of a common purchase politics. 

Through these pages, the Libraries System aims to give to the public an effective point of reference in the search of information and documents related to the environment.
