National surveillance network for environmental radioactivity monitoring - RESORAD

As part of the functions of technical coordination of surveys, drawings and measurements of radioactivity in the environment, assigned to ISPRA as established by Article 104 of Legislative Decree no. 230/95, a meeting of the national surveillance networks for environmental radioactivity monitoring wiil be held.
The meeting this year will cover the following topics:

• Status of the network RESORAD (surveillance network on environmental radioactivity) and convention with the Ministry of the Environment Protection, Land and Sea of 29/12/2006 (POD);
• The accident in Krsko: the activities of RESORAD, of ISPRA and of the Regional Environment Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia;
• Updating of the national database of radioactivity and of the system of data transmission;
• Project AGIRE POR: twinning between Regional Environment Agency of Basilicata, Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna.

Participation in the meeting is open to everybody.
