Florence, October 23-25
The Professional Association of Geologists of Tuscany, on the occasion of the International Year of Planet Earth celebrations, organized the conference entitled "State of the land and natural resources in Tuscany", in order to provide information about the territory and its development and defense. During the symposium three themes will be addressed: the slopes potential stability analysis necessary to develop a plan through the method Sinmap; the modeling of the river beds and areas at hydrogeological risk through the new technologies available; and the situation of the coasts in Tuscany.
