The Crotti: Tradition, Territory, Science. International Year of Planet Earth: dissemination and promotion of Earth Sciences in the festival of Crotti

The combination "geology and taste" inspires events across Italy. Consistently with the International Year of Planet Earth objectives, the Crotti Festival Committee organised inValchiavenna the 5 th edition of "Andèm to Cròt", an eno-gastronomic path to discover the natural cavities in the area and the typical local products. Musical evenings and theatre performances, typical products tastings and shows will enliven the days of 7, 12, 13 and 14 September. The last day is also dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of Earth sciences: the conference "Crotti: Tradition, Territory, Science" will host APAT and CNR experts and representatives of the academic world and national and local institutions.
