Vatican Radio from controls to reclamation - 5 years of environmental surveys on the levels of electromagnetic field
This technical report represents an overview of the historical evolution of Vatican Radio looking at the electromagnetic emissions from the Transmission Center in Rome. It also explains the fundamental concepts of broadcasting and measuring electromagnetic waves. In fact, APAT has carried out, since 2000, many measurement campaigns with the aim of reducing the intensity of emissions in combined ways and many monitoring stations have been installed to verify the maintenance under legislative limits in force of electromagnetic fields. This report is not only for technical use, its language is simple and suitable for a large target of public.
