International symposium
This international symposium will provide an overview of the
progress of the implementation of the Water Framework Directive in
Europe. River basin management will be addressed with special
attention given to the role of the Spanish Water Authorities
(Confederaciones Hidrográficas). Also the situation of
different European regions, new EU countries, economic problems and
transboundary considerations will be explored, along with an update
on the latest developments in EU water policy.
