UNESCO, the China Geological Survey
Center for Land Subsidence, and the Municipal Government of
Shanghai, China, jointly undertake the
Seventh
International Symposium on Land Subsidence (SISOLS 2005),
which will be held on 23-28 October 2005 in Shanghai, China. The
symposium will give the opportunity to exchange ideas, information,
and results and to discuss a sustainable approach to land
subsidence.
