Training course

Contaminated Sites: Characterization, Remediation and Risk Analysis

The course is divided into three parts:
First part: 'Environmental Characterization', 9-10 June 2009
Second part: 'Remediation', 23-24 June 2009
Third part: 'Risk Analysis', 1-2 July 2009

The course aims to provide the main theoretical concepts on the characterization, remediation technologies and analysis of risk, both for land and sea areas, through the illustration of technical protocols and guidelines developed by ISPRA. It also provides practical guidance through the description of case studies of characterization, remediation and risk analysis, based on the experiences of ISPRA technicians on sites of national interest. The training is mainly addressed to the technicians of the Environment Agencies System, to the Research Institutes and to privates working in the field.
It's possible to participate to one or more training modules.
