understanding and evaluating the quality of agricultural
eco-systems according to the international and European guidelines,
in a long-term perspective.
Biodiversity has been identified as a point of reference for
agricultural indicators as it is crucial to an organic agricultural
development, development which has instead become one of the risk
factors for the huge biodiversity loss that is taking place in its
components. The recovery of biodiversity is one of the cornerstones
for the organic development and agriculture, which together with
the knowledge and the specific evaluation of the territory in all
its complexity, it allows interventions to achieve maximum
sustainable productivity.
