Comparison between analytical methods: experience in the
measurement methods of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in
environmental matrices
Rome, October 28, ISPRA, via
Curtatone 3
The measurement of organic contaminants levels
in the environmental matrix has always been an important analytical
problem. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, for their wide
dissemination in the environment and for the reflexes on the
health, represent a contaminant of significant interest. There is
inevitably the need to adopt at national level all the instruments
that ensure the quality and comparability of the measurements
undertaken by laboratories according to different methods and
procedures. The seminar aims at comparing national and
international experiences in the field.
