The models of acoustic simulation represent the fastest method to realize a previsional analysis and allow the simulation of all the sound sources, taking into account the parameters that influence the noise production and its propagation. The need to normalize the national calculation models is perceived by the Administrations, the companies and the organizations that manage the transport infrastructures, according to Directive 2002/49/CE, acknowledged by Legislative Decree 195/2005.
