Heat waves and impact on health: interventions for prevention and monitoring
Turin, May 21
The event will be the occasion to highlight the importance of surveillance on heat waves in order to protect public health. During the meeting, will be presented the latest knowledge on health effects caused by heat, the surveillance system of Arpa Piedmont and a report on the impact of the heat wave in 2008. Finally will be described the main issues and prevention initiatives aimed at sensitive subjects.
