The availability of a clear environmental matrix frame is a fundamental instrument to work out conscious choices for the future of Veneto. Environmental indicators (chemical, physical and biological parameters strictly connected to the phenoma to investigate) give an appropriate answer to this need, acting as an "environmental thermometer", able to provide prompt information about the current and future situation of the resources. For this reason ARPA Veneto (Veneto Environment Protection Agency) considers of fundamental importance the presentation of Environmental Indicators Report 2008. The event aims at facilitating the dialogue among opinion makers, politics and environment and development experts.
