The report provides a complete overview on the cycle of management of waste in Italy, from the initial phase of collection to disposal, both for urban and specific waste. Sections are also dedicated to packaging, to waste produced and to tariffs. Thanks to the joint work of APAT and ONR (Osservatorio Nazionale dei Rifiuti – National Observatory of Waste) an efficient system for accountability, currently the most advanced in Europe, has been created.
