The 2009 edition of ISPRA's Urban Environmental Quality Report anlyses the state of the environment in 34 major Italian cities, located in 20 regions of the country. The VI Report, produced by the environment agencies system (ARPA ISPRA APPA) in collaboration with ANCI and ISTAT, updates the main environmental indicators covering the most important topics involved in the quality of urban life: mobility and transport, water and energy consumption and air quality and others. The Report represents a consolidated instrument to support local governments decisions, to guarantee the citizens a good environmental information. ISPRA
