In this publication the methodologies for preparing the national emission inventory for greenhouse gases and long-range transboundary pollutants from the agriculture sector are described. Emissions and methodologies are yearly communicated to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Kyoto Protocol and the Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP). This document reports the agricultural statistics used for preparing the emission inventory, describes in detail the estimating methodologies for the national inventory and emission factors by source category, and presents the time series of the emissions. Moreover, the methodology for disaggregating at NUTS 3 level the national greenhouse gases and long-range transboundary pollutants emissions is described. ISPRA
