The Report Maritime traffic and environmental management in the most important national port areas has been realised by ISPRA and the Italian port association (Associazione Porti Italiani), contains the data concerning the maritime transport in the 23 Italian Port Authorities established by the Law 84/1994 and examines some environmental aspects
related to the transport such oil spills at sea, air emissions, waste management. In evidence, the sensibility showed by the port authorities for the environmental issues.
The report will be presented Friday, November 6, in Genoa, under the International Forum on Technological Innovation for the Competitive and Sustainable Development of the port system and the Shipping. ISPRA
