My Ocean project has been set up by a consortium of European research centres. ISPRA included, under the VII FP. According to its call for proposals the project aims to develop and improve the GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) services for the environment global monitoring. My Ocean will make available the oceanographic variables, coming from observations and modelling, to all technical and policy stakeholders acting in the environmental protection and security. ISPRA
