This edition presents a substantial revision of the core set of
indicators on the basis of all publications related Environmental
Data Yearbook. Were also included new types of indicators (e.g.
efficiency indicators, sustainability indicators, etc..), while
others have been relocated to more consistent areas.
The Yearbook in integral version provides a very detailed
representation of environmental issues addressed. It contains the
indicator boards populated in 2008, organized for productive
sectors, environmental conditions and responses. Moreover, there is
a new chapter containing some indicators of socio-economic context,
such as population, land area, AA, number of companies, the
efficiency of infrastructures; they provide the scenario in which
the reader may place the environmental information of interest.
