APAT cooperates with several foreign government agencies and
bodies which deal with the protection of the environment. A list of
these bodies can be found below. They are divided into countries
that belong to OECD, Countries with a Transitioning Economy and
Developing Countries.

CROAZIA - Croatian Environment Agency
CUAEPP - Committee on the Use of Atomic Energy
for Peaceful Purposes. Created as part of the Council of Ministers
of Bulgaria it defines and pursues national policies on nuclear
safety and is the formal body for managing security and control in
the nuclear field. With regards to PHARE, APAT has directly
cooperated with the Committee so as to define the licensing
procedures for the decommissioning of the older units held in the
Kozludy power station.
UNMIK (United Nations Mission for Interim
Administration of Kosovo)Ministry for Environment and Spatial
Planning - , is the Environment and Town and Country Planning
Ministry within the UN Mission for the temporary administration of
Kosovo with which some members of ARPA, together with APAT
cooperate for the development of local environment monitoring
skills, reducing pollution caused by the residual ash
generated by local thermoelectric power stations, and additionally,
for an information campaign aimed at reducing energy
consumption.
NRA - Ukraine Nuclear Regulatory Authority,
with which APAT has underwritten various collaboration
agreements.
