For the CRC, APAT carried out the technical investigations for issuing opinions relating to continued operation of liquid and solid waste treatment plants and, through the Ministry of Productive Activities, sought removal of the old liquid waste transfer line, no longer in operation, which constituted a potential source of contamination.

In addition, APAT participated in research relating to revision of the EURDEP system for transmitting data from the automatic systems for measuring the gamma dose in air, aimed at including it in the future in the official information exchange system for the European Union ( ECURIE-CODECS).
