Wave climate

Waves’ statistical distribution at a depth of 10 m in front of the Bojana River mouth. Each bar of the histogram is divided into bands. Each one represents the relative frequency of the waves with a given range of significant height for that directional sector. The direction is the direction from which the waves come from.

Bojana River plume - no wave

Evolution of the river plume in the waveless condition (Q=500m3/sec).

Bojana River plume - wave

Evolution of the river plume in waves (Q=500m3/sec, wave amplitude=1m, offshore wave length=70m).

Climate Change impact on wave climate - 1

5 years average of the annual number of sea storms in the climate change scenario.

Climate Change impact on wave climate - 2

5 years average of sea storms length in the climate change scenario.

Climate Change impact on wave climate - 3

5 years average of the length of sea storms standard deviation in the climate change scenario.

Climate Change impact on wave climate - 4

5 years average of the sea storms’ peak significant wave height in the climate change scenario.

Simulation of the historical shoreline evolution
